12/12/08 - The CERT Team assisted in Shelter management, and assisted the Rutland Fire Department in the recent Ice Storm. Rutland area was hit hard and many residence were without power for over a week. See Gallery page with picture of devastation in Rutland. 08/11/07 - CERT Team training exercise out in Rutland State Park. Team members trained on a missing person search.
07/04/07 - CERT Team participated in the Town Parade. Visit the Gallery Page to see some of the CERT Team members.
04/28/07 - Town Wide Yard Sale netted Funds for the CERT Team to be able to purchase CERT supplies and training material.
01/09/07 - CERT Team met with Members of the Council on Aging and discussed what the CERT Team can do for the COA.
12/10/06 - Rutland Fire Brigade Breakfast. CERT Team Members attended and got to met all those involved in the Rutland Fire Department. The food was great and it was an enjoyable event for the Team Members children.
12/02/06 - Festival of Trees held downtown Rutland. CERT Team Members entered a Tree this year.
11/03/06 - Team Callout for 2 missing girls lost in the woods. Girls were found before the Team could be activated. It took only 20 minutes for the Team to assemble and ready for the search.
