WRSP Patrols have ended for the 2008 Summer Season. Non-Official Patrols will continue on a volunteer status until the end of October. For Lake Emergencies call the Shrewsbury Police at 508-845-4681.

11/22/08 - Saturday: Mt. Wachusetts. Hike to Top from Echo Lake. Testing new Comm Equipment and trail conditions on top of Mountain. Should be a nice day. Open to MRSP and Comm Members.

11/13/08 - Thursday: SKYWARN Training sessions in Mansfield and Spencer, MA. Mansfield training 1900-2130. Training also at the Spencer Fire Department. Contact Rick Cantin at aa1ti@aa1ti.org.

10/25/08 - Saturday & Sunday. Last QRA race out on Lake Quinsigamond for the 2008 year. Our WRSP Vessels will be out on the Lake. WR9 and WR1 will be assisting. All day event. Cold weather expected.

10/18/08 - Saturday: For our USCG AuxComm members. Special Event Day this coming weekend. Bill Latimer special Call-sign W1D will be operating on 15 Meters.

07/26/08 - UPDATE: Saturday. Lake Quinsigamond, Blake Island (Thanks to Commissioner Mike Paika) noon until dark. WCSART and the USPS (Worcester County Sail & Power Squadron) will have their annual Rendezvous (Party). All WCSART Members and members of District 12 USPS, Worcester County Sail & Power Squadron, USCG Auxiliary, and other SAR organizations and associates are invited. See the 'Orion July 08.' Note change of location from CG Island. For those with no boat, we will be ferrying guest from Corazzini Ramp and Vinny T's. Call Vessel Cell 508.414.7676 for pickup. All Members and guest using their Vessels, head south to Blake Island in the south basin. Come by and say hello and plan to have a great time on the lake.

WCSAR plans to have a booth set up to give out information, and to get volunteers for our WRSP program.
We will also have our new Maps of Lake Quinsigamond displayed for viewing and Marine USA plans to raffle-off two of our large color mural Maps at the show. Come by our booth and say 'hello.'.

01/18/07 - Celestial Navigation Class at the Stoddard Army Reserve Center 1800-2100 sponsored by WCSART. Moore State Park in Rutland, MA will be used for our Noon and Mid-night sighting exercise.
